John Keown

John J. Keown Jr. Nov. 25, 2022 John J. Keown Jr., 76, of Mobile, AL died on November 25th, 2022 at his home. John was preceded in death by his parents, Nell and John Keown Sr., and his loving wife, Linda. He is survived by his son, Jason David Keown, his stepdaughter, Jacquelyn S. Lane, his sister Sue E. Keown and his brother Larry M. Horn. He is also survived by several cousins and many step-grandchildren. John graduated from BC Rain high school and then went on to work for the Telephone company until his retirement. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed growing daylilies and amaryllis, and became an excellent carpenter / wood craftsman. He was a member of the Cypress Shores Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 2nd.. Visitation is from 1:00 to 2:00, to be followed by the interment.
