Mr. John (Jay) McCaddin Jr, age 73, born in Haddonfield New Jersey but a resident of Mobile Alabama died Monday, at his home in Tillmans Corner. Mr. McCaddin is a retired employee from Northrop Grumman shipbuilding corporation in Pascagoula MS and also USN Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer with 26 years of faithful service to our country. Mr. McCaddin was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth McCaddin and is survived by his son John C McCaddin III and wife Diane McCaddin, grandchildren MIchael Larson of Kenosha Wisconsin, Brandon, Britney Mccaddin Nashville Tennessee, Ava and John Peter McCaddin Yonkers New York. As well as his committed companion Miss Paula Chamberlain New Orleans, LA. Mr. McCaddin was a devoted husband, father, friend and service member to our country. "He will be dearly missed". Visitation services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday March 1st, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM. The funeral will be Friday, March 2nd at 12 noon.
