John Shuford

John Allan Shuford, age 69, a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at his home in Coden, AL. Mr. Shuford was born in Pensacola, FL to Billy and Dorothy Shuford on March 16, 1949. John grew up in Mobile, Alabama and was a graduate of Murphy High School. He joined the United States Army National Guard and served until 1976. John achieved the rank of E-6 (Staff Sargent) and received an Honorable Discharge for his years of service. John worked in the fire protection industry for 50years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy McLemore Shuford and father Billy Joe Shuford. He is survived by his wife, Sharlee June Shuford; three sons, David Orion Shuford (Sydnie), Bryan Joseph Shuford (Mary); Allan Foster Shuford; grandchildren, Olivia Nicole Shuford, Taylor McKenzie Shuford, Natalie Grace Shuford and Jackson David Shuford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2pm from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
