John Tillman

John Wesley Tillman, born May 16, 1934, passed away September 5, 2014 from complications of pneumonia. Mr. Tillman was owner and operator of Wesley Marcus Tillman Contractors, Dawes Grass Farm, Dawes Dirt Pit, Red Barn StoreAll and TT, Inc. John Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Warren Tillman and Ollie Olivia Walker Tillman his daughter, Juanita Faye Tillman his childrens mothers, Jimmie Nell Rigney and June Bingham Tillman 4 brothers 2 sisters and his stepdaughter, Rhonda Dykes. John Wesley is survived by his son, John Marcus Charryl Tillman, and his children, Shawn Jayme Tillman, Kevin Danielle Tillman, Whitney Tillman and Jenna Charnock his daughters, Elaine Tillman Dennis Cooley and her children, Jacob Lauren Cooley and Micah Sarah Cooley Samantha Tillman Butch Bridges and their children, Victoria, Bradley, Jarod and Elizabeth Bridges his brothers, Warren Tillman and James Doody Lencia Tillman grandchildren, Rachel Dykes, Maegan Dykes Mark Sheppard greatgrandchildren, Alisha, Brooke and Mason Tillman, Londyn and Isabella Cooley, Ethan and Ayden Dykes, his caregiver and friend, Christina Degeer other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening, September 7, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
