Joseph Alexander,III

We regretfully announce the passing of Joseph Homer "Joe" Alexander, III at the age of 77 years young. Joe passed away on November 3, 2023.

Joe was born to Homer Jr. and Dorothy Pecoul Alexander on October 25, 1946. An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Joe was an avid collector of trains and spent most of his life working alongside his brother to make the family-owned hardware store the success that it is now. He has helped to leave a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.

Although Joe never married, he has loved and been loved by a remarkable family. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Dorothy, and his brothers, Mike and Tony. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Abercrombie, his nephews, Ryan (Lindsey) Alexander and Stephen Alexander, and two great-nieces (Aniston and Gracie).

Chapel service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 12 pm to be followed by a graveside service at Magnolia Springs. Pallbearers are Billy Moiren, Sam Wynn, Justin Pearson, Kevin Yaeger, Stephen Yaeger, and Marcus Graham.
