Joseph Bell, Jr.

Joseph A. Bell, Jr., a native and longtime resident of Mobile, died on Saturday. Mr. Bell was a lifelong member of the Hollingers Island Baptist Church and a 67 year member of the Guy T. Smith Lodge 883, FAM. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Mae Bell. He is survived by two sons, Alvin Jackie Bell and John Lyle Teresa Bell five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Hollingers Island Baptist Church.
