Joseph James

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at age 93, our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Joseph David "JD" James, was carried into Jesus' presence, his last and heavenly home. We celebrate his overwhelming joy as he now worships God at His glorious throne. He is now reunited with our mother, Patricia Dorothy Crombie James, as well as many family and friends.

Left behind to mourn Dad are his wife, Inell Stanton, his children, Joseph David James Jr. (Carol), Dennis Gordon James (Vicki), Sharon Stojcich (Warren), Carol J. Watson (Carlton), step-daughters, Pat King (Larry), Debbie Stanton , Donna Stanton, his grandchildren, Kimberly, Kati (Joseph), Nathan (Deborah), Kira (Robert), Caitlin (Andrew), Leigh (Alfred), Allen, TJ, and his great-grandchildren, Grayson, Gavin J., Lance, Hope, Richard, Elizabeth, Zoe, Ethan, and Gavin E.

Funeral services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 22, 2023 with visitation beginning at 9:00 am followed by a graveside service at 10:00 am. Please bring your fondest memories to share with family and friends.
