Joseph Woodrow Penton, Jr, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL died on Friday, June 9, 2017. He was the proud owner for 31 years of Southern Professional Systems. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Wilson Penton; son, Bradford Joseph (Joy) Penton; step-son, Kevin Ray (Jamie) Kirkwood; step-daughter, Kerry Kirkwood (Michael) Ladnier; sister, Emily Penton (Dr. Ron) Herrod; eight grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 2pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
