Josie loved to create beauty all around her - in her home, in her yard, and for her children. She was a gifted seamstress and created beautiful crafts. She loved and enjoyed music throughout her life - especially singing. She was a faithful member of her church choir for many years and taught preschool choir as well. She was a dedicated wife and mother - faithful to her husband and training her children in the way they should go. She loved her Lord and looked forward to spending eternity with Him. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene H. Broadway and her son, Elden Scott Broadway. She is survived by her children, Vickie Lynn Broadway, Barbara "Jodie" Leslie (nee Broadway), Randy Eugene Broadway; siblings, Jimmie Lindsey, Sr., George Lindsey, and Ruby Wells (nee Lindsey); five grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
