Joyce Wade Carpenter, 82 of Semmes, AL passed away suddenly on Sunday. Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Wade Couey and her son Daniel Lee Wade and grandson, Eric Wade. Joyce is survived by her sister, Bonnie Hoffman and brother Ray Pouncy; son, Mike (Robin) Wade; and her daughters, Diane Wade Clausen and Debra (Jesse) Wade Wiggins; grandchildren Phillip (Jeannie) Wade, Stacie (Bill) Cullum, Stephanie Clausen, Catie (Derek) Stacey, Tommy (Michel) Watson, Amanda (Matt) Dyess, Heather Couey Lewis and Toni Couey Pearce; 12 great grandchildren; a host of friends at Ahepa Apartments and her Bunco Buddies. Joyce was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Joyce enjoyed everything in life. She was very active in her community and greatly enriched the lives of everyone she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2 PM. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
