Joyce Howell

Joyce Lord Howell died on May 27, 2020 at a local hospital. Mrs. Howell was a resident of Mobile, AL and was raised in the Crawford and Semmes area of the county. She worked as a bookkeeper for various florist shops in Mobile such as Bob & Jewel Zimlich, Zimlich the Florist and Cleveland the Florist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald R. Stewart and second husband Benny Earl Howell, Sr., her parents Oren Edward Lord, Sr. and Mildred Locke Lord, four sisters, Mavis Lord Christie, Barbara Lord McIIntyre, Elsie Lord Self and Rosemary Crowley. Also three brothers, Oren Edward Lord, Jr., Robert Ashley Lord and Charles Raymond Lord. She is survived by one sister Martha Lord Page and one brother, Malcolm Wayne Lord of Leaksville, Miss, one step daughter, Terri Howell Anglin as well as many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 30 , 2020 at 10 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will start at 9 am at the funeral home.
