Joyce Mason Phelps

Joyce Mason Phelps, age 87, a long time resident of Semmes Alabama, passed away Sunday February 5, 2023.
Joyce was born in Choctaw County Alabama. She was the Switchboard Supervisor at Cogburn Health Center for 37 years. Joyce was a faithful member of Semmes First Baptist Church for 49 years.
Joyce was preceded in death by her Husband of 47 years, William Edward Phelps, Father David Mason , Mother Lillian Linder Mason, Stepmother Atlee Mason, Sister Vermell Mason Jetke , Brother Oscar David Mason, Sister Faye Mason Moore, Brother Don Mason. She is survived by her Sister Kathy Mason Chaffin, Son Ronnie Phelps (Tonya), Daughter Rae Brown (Neal), Daughter Sandra Brancheau (David), Grandchildren Jason Brown, Katie Johnson (Aaron), Kendall Brancheau, Hannah Brancheau , Great Grandson Lane Johnson and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Semmes First Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 2:00pm. Family visitation will be at 12:30 pm and friends will be received at 1:00pm.
Interment will follow in Semmes First Baptist Church Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be sent to Semmes First Baptist Church Cemetery.
