Joyce Weed

Joyce Marie Norsworthy Weed, a native of Brantley, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL died peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother Nana and friend. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church and retired from the Mobile County Public School System after teaching the 2nd grade for 42 years. Her parents, Rex Norsworthy and Willie Pearl Jones Norsworthy, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Weed three sons, William Keith Cindy Travis, Clinton Blane Cheryl Travis and Christopher Rex Travis six grandchildren, Shelly Travis Christopher Crosby, Blane Travis, Brittan Travis, Dillan Travis, Caitlin Travis, Reid Travis, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace until we meet again. Funeral services will be held at Woodridge Baptist Church, 2700 Schillinger Road South, Mobile, AL Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the Church from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens
