Judith Ann Durrance Hanks, a native of Doylestown, PA and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the age of 73. She was a retired agent for Nationwide Insurance Company; a member of Christ United Methodist Church for many years; enjoyed quality time with her grandchildren attending their functions and playing board games and cards with them; bowling; cross-stitching; Bunco; was an avid Florida Gators sports fan; traveling; and dinner with her "Friday Night Gals". She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Rudolph Hanks; her parents, Richard Benjamin Durrance and Doris Arlene High Durrance; and her canine companion, "Buttons". Her survivors include her children, Charles Richard Jempson and his fiancé, Jenni Allen, Daryl Thomas Jempson and his fiancé, Jessica Mangan, Dennis Robert Jempson and his wife, Kendal, Kimberly Hanks, Jennifer Charltain and her husband, Scott; one sister, Margie Johnson and her husband, Robert; one brother, Richard Benjamin Durrance, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 noon until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
