Julian Soto

Mr. Julian Soto, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at a local hospital. Mr. Soto was a founding member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where he served as Eucharistic Minister, usher and sacristan. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 7270, 4th Degree at Knights of Columbus Council 666, member of 50 + Club, past member of Azalea Ballroom Dance Club and Member of Legion of Mary. District Manager for All Brands Vending with 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix Soto and Martina Plasencia Soto; brother, Reinaldo Soto; sister, Blanche Otero; granddaughter, Vera Lynn Dixon; grandson, Justin Thomas Dixon; first wife, Norma Lee Webb Soto. He is survived by wife Saundra Ramm Soto; daughter, Rita Spooner (Michael); stepdaughter, Christine Waterhouse (Thomas); stepdaughter Dorthea Ramm; granddaughter, Angel Lee Myles; brother, Frederick Soto (Sylvia); sister, Helen Bateman (Harrie); sister, Gaynell Loor (Robert) and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11 AM from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church 9:30 AM until mass time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 6625 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL 36619.
