Karen Robinson

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt's love of life didn't come to an end with her death. Karen passed away on April 19, 2022 at the age of 70 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Karen. She loved playing cards, board games and quilting with her family and her friends. She was especially involved in her grandchildren's lives. From spend the nights, secret gardens, and attending sporting events and band events, our Memommie was always there with a big smile on her face.

Karen lived a life full of love for every person she met. She was always a welcoming, gentle soul to all the lives she touched. To know her was to love her.

Karen is survived by her children and grandchildren, Patrick (Janet), Hannah, Emory, and Zachary; Leighann Perry Adam (Nicole), Reagan and Raylin; Ashley (Jenn); a sister, Janice Fitchpatrick; a brother, Bernie (Kate) Atkins and numerous other loved nieces and nephews; her lifetime friends, Liz Coleman, Carol Smith, Cathy Yeomans and many other special friends. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Bernard Sr and Emily Atkins, and a brother, Gary Atkins.

A visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on April 21, 2022 from 6 - 8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church 105 Luther Way Dothan, AL 36301 on April 30, 2022 at 2 pm. A celebration of life will be continued at her sister, Janice's house following the services.
