Katherine Raymond

Katherine "Tin Tin" Stokes Raymond, age 73, passed away on August 7, 2021 in Coden, AL. She and her twin sister were born on December 19, 1947 to Clifford and Mary Stokes in Mobile. She was a devoted weekly member of the weight management group "TOPS" for over 30 years. She loved to shop, especially at her favorite store, Walmart. She dearly loved animals and could never abandon a stray. Mrs. Raymond was a skilled homemaker, loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She never met a stranger. Described by those closest to her, she was one of a kind with a huge heart and always put others before herself. To know her was to love her.
Mrs. Raymond was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Brandon J. Raymond-Postles; twin sister, Kathleen (Mike) Baker; other siblings, Clifford (Cherry) Stokes and Helen (Truman) Zirlott; and parents, Clifford Stokes and Mary Alice Mees Stokes.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James A. Raymond Sr.; children, James A. Raymond Jr., Brian Raymond and Tracey (Shorty Seaman) Raymond; grandchildren, Brandon Bosarge, Andrew Raymond, Braxton Seaman, AJ Bosarge, and Trinity Raymond; great-grandchildren, Kylie Seaman, Mason Seaman, and Bindi Raymond; siblings, Frances (Bubba) Johnson, Allen Stokes, Jimmy (Sue) Stokes, Paul (Nancy) Stokes, Libby Kittrell, and Billy (Karen) Stokes; friends and other family; Faye Collins and Barbi Stokes; numerous extended family and friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM service time. Interment will follow in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
