Kathleen Zirlott

Kathleen Mercedes Bosarge Zirlott, 95, native and lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, Alabama, died peacefully at her home on Friday, January 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rae Ackley Bosarge and Percy R. Bosarge, her siblings, husband Charles E. Zirlott, son Charles E. Zirlott, Jr., grandson Clint Zirlott, and son-in-law Jessie Smith.
Survived by five sons, Richard Zirlott, David Zirlott (Karen), Ackley Zirlott (Debbie), Kevin Zirlott (Gail), and Brian Zirlott; two daughters, Kathleen Smith and Edie Byrne (Tommy), daughter-in-law Joy Zirlott, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
She was a life-long and devout member of St. Margaret Catholic Church of Bayou La Batre and a graduate of Alba High School.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 13790 S. Wintzell Avenue, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509 followed by interment at Oddfellows Cemetery.
