Kathrine Scott

Kathrine R. Scott, age 100 was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and resided in Mobile, Alabama. She was a graduate of Florida Southern College and attended Tulane University. She was a veteran of World War II where she served in the Women's Army Corp. She retired as a supervisor from the Department of Health and Human Resources.
She was preceded in death by her parents Grover Cousins and Annie Harris Robinson, husband William Waldorf Scott, brothers G. C. Robinson Jr., Vernon Harris Robinson, and daughter Kathrine Anne Scott. Surviving family members include daughter Alexandra Scott Barter (James), grandchildren Madeline Barter Vey (Alek), James Scott Barter, Mary Alexandra Barter, great granddaughter Anna Harris Vey. Also, sister-in-law Ontee Robinson, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Monday September 10th at 12 noon with visitation before the service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Community Fund of South Alabama D.H.R. Foster Care Endowment Fund P.O. Box 990 Mobile, Al. 36601, or at communityfoundationsa.org or to Dauphin Way Baptist Church.
