Keaton David Dycus, 25, of Mobile Alabama. He was born in Lawton Oklahoma on December 21st, 1995. He gained his Heavenly Angel wings on September 1, 2021.
Keaton is survived by his parents Mike and Sheila Dycus( Mobile Alabama) his sister Kaitlyn Dycus and Christina Dycus( Mobile Alabama) grandparents Virginia Nichols(Portsmouth Virginia) Paulette Smith(Eight Mile Alabama)Everett and Gwyn Smith of Sterling Oklahoma. He was also survived by many uncles and aunts and many, many cousins.
Keaton is preceded in death by his grandfather Nick Nichols of Chesapeake Virginia and his great-grandparents.
Keaton graduated from Murphy High School in 2014. He was in JROTV all four years. He was on the drill team winning many awards. He drew the panther logo that they use in JROTC to this date. When he was a sophomore in school he was the first Mobile County Public School student to pass the Microsoft test. He was featured in a magazine and he also surpassed his teacher's score. Keaton enjoyed playing his Xbox on the computer system that he built himself, with his sister and friends from all over. He enjoyed collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards, Pokemon cards and playing cards. After a long day at work Keaton enjoyed sitting down at his desk and drawing this is something that he was very good at. He has many drawings in the Mobile County Public Schools also he has a picture at Alabama Power and the Mobile Public Library. Keaton worked as Quality Assurance for Walmart Distribution Center. He loved his job and his work family.
Keaton was a gentle soul. He helped everyone that he could. He was patient, kind and quick with a joke. He loved card tricks but most of all he loved his family.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
