Kellynn Kate Jay, born April 27, 2016, passed away at Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children in Birmingham, AL on August 23, 2016, after struggling with inoperable Congenital Heart Disease. During her life she touched lives around the world and was loved deeply by family and friends. Kellynn Kate is the daughter of Andrew Jay and Morrisey Moberg. Kellynn Kate is survived by her twin sister, Kyla Klaire Jay; a brother, Kayson Jay; a step-brother, Lathan Broadhead; her paternal grandparents, Troy Jay, Alison Lott and Kim Murray; her maternal grandparents, Terri Easley Moberg, Morris Moberg (Tanya); her paternal great-grandparents, Clarence M. Jay (Sonja) and Roger Cliff Porter; her maternal great-grandparents, Raymond Easley (Rosemary), Tony Moberg (Helen); uncles, Morris "Buzz" Moberg, Corey Jay, Trevor Jay and Kyle Stinson; Aunt Haley Stinson; other relatives and friends; the entire staff at the Cardiovascular Intenstive Care Unit at Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children who became their family, friends at Red Mountain Grace and their sponsor White Plume Technologies of Homewood, Alabama. In lieu of flowers Kellynn's parents would be honored to have you support Red Mountain Grace and the CVIC Unit in Birmingham, AL. Visitation to be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Graveside services will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
