KELLER
Kerry Kendall Keller, born August 12, 1943 in Birmingham, AL and passed away on April 13, 2020 after a 14 year battle with Leukemia. He was the son of Arthur R. Keller and Ralph Theresa Spink Keller. He grew up in Grand Bay, AL and was a graduate of UMS class of 1960. He graduated from Troy State University with a B.S. in Applied Math in 1965. He worked for Owens-Illinois/Solo Cups retiring in 2010. He started his involvement in Youth Baseball when his son started playing T-Ball in 1981. He coached and held park offices until 2008. He served as Cottage Hill Little Leagues President from 1986-2008. He also served as District Administrator for Little League Alabama District 7 from 1995 until he retired in 2013. He served on the Mobile City Youth Athletic Board as an officer and a member for 15 years. Nov. 21, 2000 was declared “Kerry K Keller” Day by a Mobile City Council Proclamation for his many years of dedication to the welfare of the youth of Mobile. Kerry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy; his 2 children, Michael (Ginger) Keller and Janet (Allen) Fincher; his 5 grandchildren, Bradley Keller, Jeffrey Keller, Ella Kate Keller, Brayden Fincher and Carson Fincher; and his wonderful grand dogs, Molly and Boss; his sister-in law and brother-in law Pat and Larry Bates, many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church since 1979 and Grand Bay United Methodist Church since his birth. Due to current circumstances a memorial service will be held at a later date
