Kevin Seaman

Kevin Gene Seaman passed away peacefully at his home in Bayou la Batre, Alabama, on December 11, 2024, at the age of 67, surrounded by his loving family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Olive Laforce, Willie Eugene Seaman Jr, and his wife, Rita Carol Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Ann Womack (husband Michael Ray); his son, Willie Eugene "Shorty" Seaman (wife Tracey Raymond); and his sister, Sharon Celeste Traylor (husband Glenn Traylor). He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Kevin was further preceded in death and blessed with the love of his sisters: Gwendolyn Faye Landry (husband Maurice), Lillie Carol Goodrum (husband Anthony), and Paulette Kaye McCormick (husband Bobby).

A lifelong shrimper in Bayou la Batre, Kevin embraced the beauty of life's simpler joys. He had a passion for decorating for the holidays, painting, and sharing music through singing and dancing. He often showcased his green thumb through his love of nature and plants. Known for his tender heart and generous spirit, Kevin had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

A visitation for family will be held on December 19, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Kevin's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. May his legacy of love and generosity continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
