Kinnie Palmer, 74, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on July 26, 2020. He entered this world on June 9, 1946 in Fayette, AL, born to Kinnie and Mary Palmer. He is survived by his sons Michael Palmer and Kevin Palmer; spouse Grace Palmer; three grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, and Olivia; sister, Ann Williams; brother, Jimmy Palmer; three stepdaughters Vonda Dunklin, Angela Law, and Heather Sandell. Kinnie served in the National Guard during the Vietnam War. He retired from a long and successful career with the Alabama State Docks -- Railroad Division
He was heavily involved with his church, First Baptist Tillman's Corner as a deacon, greeter (aka, the greeter with the hat), and a Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed painting, puzzles, playing games with his family, and was a bigger PC gamer than most teens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to First Baptist Tillman's Corner in memory of Kinnie Palmer. Additionally, there will be a drive by at the family's home at noon following the service.
