Larone Sanders

February 21, 1932 — January 5, 2021

LaRone T. Sanders, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

She was born February 21, 1932 in Charlotte, North Carolina. LaRone graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile, and married Donald Lee Sanders on April 28, 1951.

Her strong faith in the Lord was always present. Her studies and teachings took her all over the world. Visiting the Holy Land twice, being baptized in the Jordan River was one of her most fond memories. Her involvement in JH Ranch and Outback Camps where she was able pray with people and bring them to know the Lord was her calling.

She is survived by:
3 children and spouses: Linda S. Wilkins of Birmingham, AL, Don and Teresa Sanders of Greensboro, GA, Tracye and Chipper Mathis of Mobile, AL.
8 Grandchildren: Daniel Wilkins, Paul Wilkins, Hope Sanders, Jeff Sanders, April Voris, Matt Mathis, Elizabeth Chandonnet and Tyler Mathis.
7 Great-Grandchildren: Ava Voris, Aiden Voris, Alex Chandonnet, Turner Mathis, Declyn Wilkins, Roy Wilkins, Sam Rice and three more blessing on the way.
Brother and Sister-in-law: David and Norma Turner of Satsuma, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Sanders Sr., her parents, JD and Vesta Pickett Turner and sister, Olive Turner Stafford.

Private graveside services were held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mobile Nursing and Rehab for their wonderful loving and care support.
