Laura Dillard Kominek
1929-2018
A native of Ozark, AL and resident of Mobile, AL died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the age of 89. Mrs. Kominek was involved in her church, Luke 4:18 Fellowship and was a former member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Medical Auxiliary. She loved cooking, taking care of her family and sports. She is survived by her husband, Robert Leonard Kominek; three children, David Alan (Karan) Kominek, Susan Kaye Roberts and Leigh Ann (Edward) Dismukes; sister, Elizabeth Otto; seven grandchildren, Alan (Lauren) Kominek, Melissa (Kevin) Williams, Chelsea Roberts, Katelan Roberts, Jonathan Dismukes, Susan Dismukes and Andrew Dismukes; five great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 from Luke 4:18 Fellowship with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family would like to request any memorials be made to the Joshua Fund at Luke 4:18 Fellowship, 2664 Sollie Road, Mobile, AL 36695. The family also would like to thank personally the Saad family, including all of the staff, nurses and caregivers of Saad Home Health Care. Memorials may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
