Lenard Robinson

Lenard Henry Robinson, a longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away at his home on Sunday, October 9, 2016 two days shy of his 75th birthday. He was born on October 11, 1941 in Evergreen, AL. He was a 1960 graduate of Foley High School in Foley, AL. He served 22 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a MSGT. After his military service, he worked for Honeywell & Electronic Data Systems.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brutus & Myrtle Robinson, his in-laws, George & Julia Bender, his brother, Elmer Robinson, his sisters, Linda Faye Mobley and Deborah Carver and his niece, Sheryl Mobley.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Julia Ann (Bender) Robinson, his daughters, Teresa Lynn Robinson of Mobile, AL and Karen Denise Robinson of Snellville, GA and his sister, Peggy Nelson of Mobile, AL as well as many nieces and nephews & other family members.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5 - 8 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 6040 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, AL. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12 pm at Pine Rest Memorial Park at 16541 US Hwy 98, Foley, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
