Buck Harrison

Lewis Carter "Buck" Harrison, age 89, resident of Mobile, Alabama, was born August 29th, 1935, and passed on March 21st, 2025. Buck graduated from Lineville High School, in Lineville Alabama where he grew up. He later retired from Union Oil and the State of Alabama ABC Board. Buck was a member of the Alabama State Employees Association, a Shriner at Zamora Temple in Birmingham, and a member of the Pleasant Grove Masonic Lodge #909. Throughout his life, Buck enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Buck is preceded in death by; his father, Lewis B. Harrison; his mother, Estelle Elizabeth Harrison; his daughter, Pamela E. Franklin; and his sisters, Joyce Kibbee and Patricia Vail.

He is survived by; his loving wife, Joyce Roddy-Harrison of Mobile, Alabama; his daughter, Lynn (Jim) Herbinger of McCalla, Alabama; his granddaughter, Haley (Wesley) Rogers of Pleasant Grove, Alabama; his grandson, Jesse B. (Allison) Thomason of Helena, Alabama; his great-grandkids, Carter Rogers, Amelia Rogers, Owen Thomason, and Luke Thomason; his sister, Helen Wheeles of Lineville, Alabama; his brothers, Benny Harrison of Lineville, Alabama, and James Harrison of Oxford, Alabama; his sister-in-law, Judy Lowery of Cullman, Alabama; and his nieces and nephews.

The family of Mr. Buck Harrison will hold a memorial service in his honor at a later date.
