Linda Faye Cochran Cox, a native of Montgomery, AL and longtime resident of Theodore, AL, died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the age of 67 after a courageous battle with cancer. She loved the mountains, going on cruises and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, James Andrew Cochran, Sr., and her brother, James "Jimmy" Andrew Cochran, Jr. Her survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Edward Cox; two daughters, Belinda Cox (Clay) McClinton and Samantha Cox (Jim) Rivers; her son, Dennis (Cathy) Cox; her mother, Imogene "Jean" Audrey Weaver Cochran; three sisters, Martha Cochran (Roy) Morris, Alice Cochran (Glenn) Scarbrough and Barbara Cochran (Clifford) McCarty; her brother, Dennis Cochran; eleven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and one more expected to be born; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, December 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mrs. Cox's name be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O.
