Linda Ivy

Linda Sue Pope Ivy, age 63, a resident of Mobile, AL for the past 56 years, went to be with her Lord surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, October 2, 2018 after a long hard fought battle with ovarian cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clyde Flowers Pope and her father, Irving George Pope. Her survivors include her husband of 27 years, Jim Ivy; her son, Nathan (Ashley) Ivy; her daughter, Meagan Ivy and Sam Harris, Meagan's fiancé; two brothers, Ellis (Annette) Pope and David (Dana) Pope; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; many loving cousins; other relatives and friends. Linda graduated from Davidson High School in 1973 and began a career in the homebuilding industry where she later joined her husband, Jim, in the family business of Infinity Homes. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and faithful friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. Linda had a kind heart and was always there to help others. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
