Linda Hadley Spencer, age 77 passed away on Tuesday. A native of Atmore, AL, she was a longtime resident of Chickasaw and Mobile. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Spencer was a legal secretary for 59 years assisting Robert Edington and Robert Denniston. She also owned Spencer House Catering for over 10 years. Her favorite activity was spending time with her husband, children and especially her 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, who all loved and cherished their "MiMi". She also enjoyed cooking, shopping and traveling. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Bill Spencer; her daughter, Jeri (John) Webb; son, Ben (Emily) Coate; daughter, Ami (Frank) Cheatham; grandchildren, Ross (Carey) Webb, Sarah (Kyle) Beason, Caroline and Ethan Coate and Emma Cheatham and great grandchildren, Riley and Brody Webb and Anna Kate Beason as well as many other close friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2pm. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
