Linda Valentine

Linda Holmes Valentine, age 70, a resident of the Mobile, AL area for the past 41 years, went to be with her Lord surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, October 10, 2018 after a long, hard fought battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nell Holmes, her father, Houston Holmes, and her brother, Terry O'Neal Holmes. Her survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert "Bob" K. Valentine, Sr., her son, Robert "Ken" K. (Dedra) Valentine, Jr., her daughter, Regina V. (Brad) Felkner, her sister, Kay Holmes (Allen) Cowart, her grandson, Houston Scott Felkner , and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many loving cousins, other relatives and friends. Linda graduated from Theodore High School in 1966 and worked as a secretary at Degussa and the University of South Alabama. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, Ya Ya, and faithful friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. Linda had a kind heart and always put others needs before hers. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM from New Life Assembly of God Church, 10424 Old Hwy 31, Spanish Fort, AL, 36527 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the Church.
