Linda Wooley

Linda C. Wooley lost her battle with cancer and went to her heavenly home on Sunday February 7, 2021. She was born in Mobile, AL. on September 30, 1946. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She is retired from Sears Inc.

She is survived by her children, Marcy (Chris) Matthews, Miranda (Vaughn) Patterson, Scott (Erica) Wooley, and Bobby Cotton. The light and apple of her eyes was her grandchildren, Kyle (Kayla) Matthews, Rebekah Matthews (Cameron Morris). Great Grandson, Linton James Matthews. Sisters, Patsy (Len) Rosher and Catrina Brunson. Niece, Catina (Noel) Lacsamana, and Nephew Corey Mathhues.


She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Wooley, her parents Frank and Eva Mae Brunson, Brothers Wayne (Anita) Brunson and Pete (Tammy) Brunson.


She had an abundance of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that she adored.

A memorial service led by Pastor Sandy Delchamps will be held on Monday February 15, 2021 at 2pm. Visitation starts at 1:30 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Fellowship will follow at 8031 Pueblo St.
