Lisa Annette Roy Updike, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, reached her Heavenly home Friday, May 20, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was employed as Office Manager of Adam's Plumbing Co. Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, David Roy. Her survivors include her husband, Michael Timothy Updike; her parents, Robert Lamar Roy and Shirley Ann Hendrickson Roy; two sisters, Donna Lynn Roy (David) Schof and Lesley Nichole Roy (Jack) Jaquay; two nieces, Payton Allison Jaquay and Kelsey Lynn Roy; two nephews, Christian Tyler Anderson and Carson Layne Roy; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Tim) Roy-Buckler; brother-in-law, Ronnie Anderson; dear and special friend, Bonita Tanner; other relatives and many friends. The family wishes to express appreciation to Dr. Matthew Eves; Dr. Jonathan Miller; Dr. Michael Meshad, Belinda, Susan, Vicki, Brandy and all affiliated with the Southern Cancer Center for their wonderful care and family support. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 6:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 PM until service time.
