ROSE, Lois Louise
It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Louise Rose of Mobile, Alabama announces her passing on Saturday, September 3, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Lois will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Diane Duber of Gresham, Oregon, her daughter-in-law Nancy Rose of Portland, Oregon, and her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Anne Rose of Mobile. Lois will also be tenderly remembered by her seven grandchildren: Michael, Nathan, Valery, Adam, Ryan, Emily, and Daniel, and by her nine great-grand-children: Ashley, Stanleigh, Pageous, Kody, Bailey, Lexx, Micah, Joe, and Meagan. Lois was born on March 6, 1930 to Charlie and Nellie Wolfe of Crestview, Florida. She was married to Frank Daniel Rose, Sr. of Pepin County, Wisconsin on September 2, 1947. Together they had five children, Diane, Frank Jr., Gary, Gail, and Roger. Three of her children have already passed on as well as her husband Frank who passed away on April 18, 2007. Lois' husband Frank was a WWII veteran as well as an an Air Force retiree. As a military family, the Roses lived in several different locations through-out the family's history including Rhineland, Germany, Florida, Missouri, Texas, Mississippi, Colorado, Arizona, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and most recently, Alabama. A Visitation and Funeral Service in memory of Lois will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM (Visitation) and 11:00 AM (Funeral) at the Community of Christ Church, 672 Azalea Road, Mobile, Alabama, where she was an active member. Lois will be laid to rest, with her husband, at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi, on Wednesday, October 3 at 11:00 AM, after a short ceremony.
