Lori Jane Johnson Taylor, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Sunday, November 13, 2017 at the age of 53. Lori was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and friend; a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church; was employed for over 30 years as a paralegal for Irvin Grodsky at Irvin Grodsky, PC law firm and loved spending time on Dauphin Island. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wendell Johnson and Doris Leigh Cunningham Johnson Platt. Her survivors include her husband, Doyle McArthur Taylor; son, Doyle Christopher Taylor and daughter, Kelsey Leigh Taylor; eight siblings, Patricia Ann Johnson (Fred) Spaulding, Mark Anthony (Cecile) Johnson, Patrick Wendell (Valerie) Johnson, Mallory O'Neil Johnson, Russell Earl Johnson, Michael Frank Johnson, Peggy Lynn Johnson (Scott) Green and Jeannie Leigh Johnson; nieces; nephews; cherished friends and the Taylor family, all of whom adored her and whom she loved. A memorial mass and celebration of life will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 5:30 PM from Corpus Christ Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 4:00 PM until service time.
