Louis Wooley, Jr., a native of Mobile, AL and current resident of Deatsville, AL, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at the age of 92. Mr. Wooley was a US Marine Veteran and was retired from the Corps of Engineers. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, hunting and fishing and was very talented with his hands -- he could fix anything. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Wooley, Sr. and Amanda Mary O'Brien Wooley; his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Nell Harris Wooley; a granddaughter, Nancy Nell Wooley; a grandson, David Kirk Wooley; his brother, Leon Wooley; and three sisters, Helen Hawthorne, Katherine Haney and Evelyn Stoody. His survivors include two sons, Stephen Thomas (Janet) Wooley and David Louis (Valerie) Wooley; a daughter, Angela Louise Wooley (Jeffery) Garner; four grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Dudeck, Stephanie (Zach) Haynes, Kyle (Lauren) Wooley and Lindsay Sears; three great-grandchildren, Liam Dudeck, Victoria Sears and Aaron Sears; nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Pall Bearers will be David Wooley, Steve Wooley, Kyle Wooley, Zach Haynes, Frank Massey, and Byron Massey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
