Annie Louise Odom Beck passed away peacefully at her home in Mobile, Alabama, on May 20th 2021, at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Marion, her sister Marion, her brother-in-law Robert Kossow, her brother Lewis G. Odom Jr., her husband Ersell Beck Jr., and her great-grandson Kai Beck. She is survived by her sister-in-law Janelle (Lewis) Odom Jr., her daughter Dana Beck (Scott) Seale, her stepson Gary (Becky) Beck Sr., six grandchildren Laura (Chris) Rolison, Russ (Jill) Beck, Brooks (Hon) Beck, Garrison Beck, Meaghan (Jake) English, and Hunter (Taylor) Seale, and 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Beck retired from the Mobile County Public School System in 1980. After retirement she spent her days playing golf, gardening and at the beach in Destin, Florida, as much as possible. Those closest to her will always remember her kind, giving heart, her willingness to help anyone less fortunate, and those in need of a helping hand. Louise demonstrated and instilled these traits in all those that she met in this life. Special appreciation goes out to her caregivers Sandra Wiley and Annette Jones, and Saad Healthcare-Hospice Care of Mobile. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1900 Dauphin St. Mobile, Alabama, on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 10 A.M. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. The internment will be private.
