In Loving Memory…

Lucille Ledlow Garrett, a longtime resident of Mobile Al., passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 28, 2016. She was an employee of the former Battle House for many years and when it was closed she moved to the International Trade Club where she was employed until she retired. She had a very deep passion for old Mobile tradition. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Batro Ledlow, Cecil Ledlow, and Travis Ledlow; two sisters, Shirley Ledlow Hammond and Myrtle Ledlow Nelson; and a grandson, Christopher Grace. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Sid) Ponder, Donna (Bobby) Grace and Londa (Craig) Carpenter; grandchildren, Mathew (Heather) Ponder, Erin Grace, Heath Grace, Ashley Ponder, Heather (Miles Reid) Grace, Garrett (Amber) Carpenter, Ryan Carpenter, Michael Ponder, and Mattie Grace; great- grandchildren, Mark Grace, Madison Carpenter, Molly Ponder, Kinsley Carpenter, Mallory Grace, Zoe Ponder and Emerson Carpenter; nieces; nephews; other relatives; long time neighbors and friends, Judy Croaker and Gail Seabury, and many other friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 3, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening, September 2, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
