Lula Helton

Lula Mae Williams Helton, a native of Century, FL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at the age of 83. She enjoyed reading, fishing, the outdoors and was an Alabama football fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Junior Helton, Sr.; her parents, James Rufus Williams and Mattie Lois Merchant Mulligan; her granddaughter, Angel Rowell, and her sister, Kathy Adams. Her survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Ann Etheredge and Carolyn Elaine Ammons; her son, Robert Junior (Sheri) Helton, II; four grandchildren, Calvin Etheredge, Nicole (Robert) Pate, Rachael (Jason) Butler and Matthew Etheredge; four great-grandchildren, Colby Wolstenholme, Alden Wolstenholme, Beau Pate and Henry Etheredge; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until service time.
