Maggie Lee Eaves Hayes went to be with Jesus on September 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Reese (1984) and Don Hayes (2012); her parents, Andrew and Julia Mae Eaves; a brother, "Bud", and sisters, Clara, Mary Ellen, Sarah, Kathryn and Evelyn. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Reese Ray (Lewis) of Coker, AL, Gayle Reese Gann (Don) of Robertsdale, AL; grandchildren, Melinda Lake (Joel), Chris Ray (Mandy), Justin Ray (Jennifer), Matt Gann (Autumn), Mallory Friese (Eric); 12 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Alien Ritts, Peggy Tech, and Nancy Carter (Marvin). A devout Christian and avid prayer warrior, Maggie's faith helped see her through the many difficulties she faced in life. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry, solving puzzles, sewing, embroidery, cooking and southern gospel music. Most of all, she loved her family. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Ronnie McCarson, will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great- grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her many nieces and nephews, Hospice of West Alabama, residents and staff of Martinview , Cottage Hill Baptist Church, friends and neighbors of Inverness subdivision, Dr. Brian Wilhite, Jack and Sally Pasley, Helen and Edris Scott, Jimmy and Elna Battle. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
