Maggie Williams

Maggie Pearl Williams, age 104, long time resident of Saraland, Al passed away at Jackson Health Care Facility on Sunday November 19, 2023. Born May 14,1919 in Holtamville, Al to parents George "Woodie" Williams and Mary Fields (Vaughn) Williams.

Maggie lived in Kentucky an Texas, but spent most of life in Saraland and Coffeeville, Alabama.

She was a devoted member of Saraland Baptist Church. Maggie spent her life serving others and loved the Lord. She kept active and always made time for her friends and family, loved playing games(especially scrabble) and studying her bible.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Wilburn Wallace Williams, her son George Edd Williams, her two brothers Curtis Williams, Raymond Williams, sisters, Ruby Huggins, Alma Driver.

She is survived by her daughter Georgiann Smith and many grandchildren, great grand children and great-great grand children.

Services will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at Saraland Baptist Church. Visitation will at 10:00 am with service at 11:00 am followed with graveside at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Hope Lodge in Birmingham, Al.
