Margaret Jordan

MARGARET ANNETTE DEASON JORDAN, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died peacefully surrounded by her family Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born June 9, 1933 to Harold and Margaret Deason.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Hilton Harry “Buddy” Jordan and her grandson, Cy Gates.

Her survivors include her children, Steve (Penny) Jordan, Deborah (Bob) Gates, Nina (Bruce) Brazell, Donnie (Debbie) Jordan and Joanne (Neal) Ankersen; her sisters, Gloria Deason Kennedy, Harriette Deason Womack, Dorothy Deason (Don) Davis and Cindy Deason Barnett; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jim Kinder, will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
