Margaret Rice

Margaret I. Rice was born March 27, 1926 in Mobile Alabama to John and Annie Laurie Imahorn. She passed from this world on June 3, 2022.
Margaret is survived by three sons: Joseph Patterson (Denise), Donald Patterson (Donna) and Douglas Patterson (Vickie) Margaret had seven grandchildren: Ashley Vice, Chad Patterson, Jody Patterson, Kelly Patterson Moore (Patrick), Gregory Patterson (Amy), Laurie Patterson Cuce' (Damien) and David Joseph Patterson. She had eight great-grandchildren. Her entire family was able to be with her on her 90th birthday!
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Ashbury Manor for their exceptional and loving care over the past several years and we also want to thank Kindred Hospice for the loving care they gave her for the past 5 months.
Margaret loved Mardi Gras, the "boats," her family and butterflies! In her
honor, all women attending the funeral will be wearing one of her butterfly pins.
Margaret never met a stranger. She is now in heaven...chatting it up with all of her friends and loved ones, especially her loving husband, George!
