Margaret Sprinkle

Margaret Elizabeth "Booba" Johnson Sprinkle, age 77, a native and long-time resident of Mobile County, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years A.G. Sprinkle Jr., her mother Johnnie Mae Johnson and her father Nick Johnson. She is survived by her 2 sisters Lou Wescovich and Joanne Taylor (Danny); 2 sons Trey Sprinkle (Serena) and Spencer Sprinkle (Melissa); 4 grandchildren Trey Trey Sprinkle, Chance Sprinkle (Tayler), Parker Sprinkle, and Madelyn Sprinkle, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Booba was especially close to and fond of her loving aunt Caroline Hill and devoted friend Linda Barginear.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother through the years, Booba was also a dedicated caregiver to her husband, aging parents and mother-in-law Gladys Sprinkle as well as other family members. She selflessly provided them with love, support, and care during their times of need, and she always put their needs before her own.

While she would often be busy helping others, she always found time to socialize with her friends and past classmates. She enjoyed reminiscing about old times, attending social events, and trying out new restaurants with her loved ones. She had a contagious smile and a warm personality that made everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

Booba will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love and compassion will be cherished and continue to live on forever in our hearts and memories.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 at 12:00pm at the Lighthouse of Hope Holiness Church in Irvington. Visitation will be from 10:00amuntil service time. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
