Marian Poirier

March 18, 1934 - March 28, 2017. Marian "Mickey" Andermann Poirier, a native of St. James, LA, departed this life at her home in Grand Bay, AL with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma Hymel Andermann and Antoine Richard Andermann, a son, Lynn Poirier, a daughter, Deborah Poirier, and one grandson, Keith Murray. Her surviving children are Ramona Poirier Murray (Elwood) of Grand Bay, AL, Elaine Poirier Hynes (Joseph) of Baton Rouge, LA, Valerie Poirier Maples (Gary) of Denham Springs, LA, Wilfred Poirier III (Toni Richards) of Pascagoula, MS. Mickey was blessed with 16 grandchildren, Christopher Murray (Angela), David Murray, Anthony Murray (Kayla), Kenneth Murray (Carmen), Joseph Hynes, Jr., Jessica Hynes Babcock (Stephen), Michele Maples Bowman (Clay), Kelly Maples, Jacie Maples, Rebecca Maples, Traci Poirier Fleming (Brad), Julie Poirier Davis (Kris), Michael Poirier (Christie), Michelle George McIiwain (Ben), Chris George, Douglas Robertson(Mallory). Great-grandchildren are Megan Murray, Livia and Leina Murray, Tucker Murray, Kaitlin and Seth Fleming, Kayley and Ashley Davis, Ella and Layton Poirier, Calvin and Lily Bowman, Audrey Babcock, Madison, Chaz and Ansley McIiwain, Levi Robertson. Her one surviving brother, Louis Andermann, lives in St. James, LA. There are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many great friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Grand Bay, AL at 11:00 AM on March 31, 2017. Visitation will begin at 9:30. Burial is to be at Serenity Gardens with Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home directing Services.
