Marion Lewis Flowers-a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died peacefully in her sleep on September 30, 2016. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality by all who knew her. She graduated from Murphy High School in 1949, Mrs. Flowers worked at Brookley Air Force Base. She retired from Teledyne Continental as a personal assistant to the plant manager after 41 years of faithful service. Mrs. Flowers was a faithful member of South Brookley United Methodist Church for many years during which time she served on various committees. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph W. Flowers and her mother Beryl Wallace Lewis. She is survived by several cousins and dear friends. A special thanks to the caregivers at Springhill Senior Residence and Kindred Hospice. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 11 am. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
