Marion Ghioto

GHIOTO
Marion D. Ghioto of Mobile, Al passed away August 3, 2018 at the age of 75. Marion was born on January 8, 1943 in Methuen, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Teddy Ghioto; her birth parents, Glen Dean and Harriet Livingston; adoptive parents, Norman and Lois Spann; in-laws, Telfair and Bridget Ghioto; brother Philip Spann. She is survived by her children, Kathy Ghioto (Tina Machen), Teddy Ghioto, and Brandy Elliott; grandchildren, Anthony Ghioto and Gina Ghioto (Nick Stokes); great-grandchild, Hayden Stokes; sister-in-laws, Ann Hartley (Jim) and Joyia Spann; nephews, John Hartley and Flip Spann; niece Juliene Spann Watson; and other relatives and friends. Marion grew up in Dothan, Al, where she met her husband, Teddy. She and Teddy married, moved to Fort Walton Beach and later made Mobile their home. Marion was a very nurturing person, loved by all who knew her. She was fun-loving and never met a stranger. Her children's and grandchildren's closest friends considered her a second mother. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
