Marjorie Kathryn Giddeon passed away peacefully at home Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Nolan Giddeon, Jr. and her grandson, Chance Nolan Giddeon. Her survivors include her children, James Nolan (Mary) Giddeon, III, Robert (Linda) Giddeon, Richard Giddeon, Liz (Chris) Lovvorn and Renae (Charlie) Steadham; grandchildren, Ashley Giddeon, Robby Giddeon, Charles Colby Bolton, Hailey Carter and Christopher Lovvorn, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Anya and Bryce Giddeon, Brody and Owen Carter and Hattie Mae Lovvorn; her brothers, Malcomb “Sonny” (Lois) Newbauer, Frank L. (Teresa) Newbauer and Donald Wayne (Terri) Newbauer. Jr.; her sister, Kay Baughman; sister-in-law, Joyce Higgs; special friend and caregiver, Erin Padgett; other relatives and friends. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all. The family would like to express a special THANK YOU to Comfort Care Hospice for their care, guidance, support and compassion. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Higgs, Steven Higgs, Christopher Lovvorn, Robby Giddeon, Charles Steadham and Nick Carter. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 AM. Graveside services officiated by Rev. Jeff Spiller, will follow at 10:00 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
