Marlene Walker

Marlene Vogel Walker, age 81, passed away in the comfort of her home on February 10, 2022. She was born in Springfield, MO on September 28, 1940 to Robert and Myrtle Vogel. Mrs. Walker last worked for the University of South Alabama and was a member of the Springhill Ave. Methodist Church Choir for 40 years. She will be remembered by her loved ones as a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and friend.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents; Robert John Vogel and Myrtle (Jones) Vogel; brother, Rogen Allen Vogel.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Reese Walker; children, Stephen Walker and Stephanie (Clyde) James; grandson, Seth Walker; other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 11:00am until the 12:00pm service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
